I am on my 20th
year of being cancer free. I donate money every time I get paid throw pay roll deduction.
Being a cancer survivor, I am also on the national tumor registry. That is if my cancer was to come back and a new
drug came out, I am on that list to try the new drug. I do what I can.
Last Christmas,
some friends and I raised $700.00 and supported a single mom with 2 kids. Because of her cancer, she could only work part
time. We bought them over a months worth of food, gifts for all of them for Christmas and was even able to pay her power bill
for 2 months. My friends and I are doing it again this year. This year we have a family of 4 that dad had to quit his job
in order to deal with his cancer. The mom is working fulltime, but paying all their normal bills plus what the insurance doesn’t
cover, they have nothing left. So far we have collected $405.00. We hope that a week before Christmas we will have more.
Because I work
full time and I am a mother to 5 children. I made these pages for you to shop from. Each time you click on a link, shop and
purchase though the link, I make between 5%-20% of that sale. This is how I donate money to help these families in my own
area. It may not cure the cancer for these families, but it sure does lift some of the stress of the holidays. We are using
$200.00 this week to buy their Thanksgiving dinner. We will save the rest for their Christmas.
